Andy Hallwaxx - Director
Andy Hallwaxx was born in Kemeten in 1967. From 1997-2004 he directed the Carinthian Children's Summer, in whose program he also staged the children's opera HIMMEL UND HÖLLE in 2003, as well as PETRUSCHKA UND DER PUPPENKÖNIG at the MOKI Theater. In 2004 Hallwaxx was also a guest at the Carinthian Summer as a director (JUPITERS LANDING, DER BANKRAUB). Directorial work includes shows at the Vienna Musikverein (ORPHEUS UND EURIDIKE, 2004), dietheater Künstlerhaus (HINTER GITTI), the Vienna Metropol (STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT, 2005) and the Volkstheater/districts from MY WAY (2005) to A LITTLE BISSCHEN GLÜCK ( 2010).

Hallwaxx is known from film and television through his appearances in KOMMISSAR REX, TRAUTMANN, DER WINZERKÖNIG, DER FALL DES LEMMING, SCHNELL ERMITTELT and SOKO DONAU. From 2005 to 2012 he was a member of the ensemble at the Volkstheater in Vienna. In the summer of 2012, Hallwaxx staged DON PASQUALE in Klosterneuburg.

- the actress and director studied theatre in the United Kingdom. She has been running VIENNA THEATRE PROJECT since 2006. German language theatre directing credits include Mädchen Mit Den Schwefelhölzern workshop (Ronacher Theater); Hautnah (Patrick Marber) for Theaterverein Vision (OFF Theater) Recent acclaimed musicals include Tick Tick...Boom! Marry Me A Little, Ordinary Days (Theater Drachengasse)
She enjoys choosing plays with social & political content; Dirt (Theater am Petersplatz), The Meeting (Black History Month/Theater am Petersplatz) to name a few. In 2014 she directed the hit play Topdog/Underdog (Theater Drachengasse), was pleased to receive rave
reviews for Disgraced & The Invisible Hand (2016) and starred in Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Psychosis (Dialog im Dunkeln).
She directed the sell out shows Sarg Niemals Nie (Theatercouch) and The Last 5 Years ( Brick 5). The Who & The What by Ayad Akhtar (Theater Drachengasse). She further directed , Building the Wall by Schenkkan , Crossing Jerusalem - Julia Pascal & The Flick by Annie Baker and the opera Barber of Sevilla at Klassikfestival Schloss Kirchstetten.
She produced A Bedfull of Foreigners at MUTH with Art for Charity, directed The Mountaintop by Katori Hall (Pick of the Week) and Nina Simone: Four Women by Christina Ham, again celebrated by press and public. Showed in Kultursommer Wien Emigranten. She was on stage in Relative Values by Noel Coward at Le Studio Moliere, in November 2021. Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill and Dreck (Kultursommer Wien) were her latest director hits.
As a result of the pandemic started reading “1001 Nights” Live and online nightly in 2020 and will complete the whole book by 2024. So far with this project the team has reached over 2,000,000 people globally. More info www.joannagodwinseidl.com and www.viennatheatreproject.com for upcoming shows.
Jacqueline Braun - Dora/Dorph
Born in Holland, she studied at the Academy of Small Arts in Amsterdam. She was in the original cast of ANASTASIA at the Stuttgart Palladium, where she played Countess Lily Malevsky-Malevich. In England she was previously in a 2 year engagement as Rosie in MAMMA MIA! to experience in London.
She made her debut as Rosie in 2014 at VBW Vienna. She started her career in Holland with CYRANO, followed by various tours through the Netherlands: WILLEKE, CARMEN, THIS FUNNY WORLD and others.
In Germany she played Eponine and Fantine (LES MISÉRABLES, Duisburg). Engagements in Austria: HAIR (Dionne), MOZART! – in concert (Cäcilia Weber), JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR – in concert (Herodes) at Raimund Theater Vienna, ELISABETH (Ludovika/FrauWolf/Governante) at Theater an der Wien, THE WILD PARTY (Madeleine True) at Stadttheater Klagenfurt, THE WIZ (Evillene) at the Musiktheater Linz and WE WILL ROCK YOU (Killer Queen) in Zurich, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Maria Magdalena) in Kassel, TOMMY, FOOTLOOSE, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, HAIR, THE FULL MONTY and LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Most recently: ON YOUR FEET at the Musical Sommer Amstetten.
Jacqueline Braun appeared at the world premieres of CARMEN CUBANA and ROCKVILLE at the Deutsches Theater in Munich. She sang for ORF/Dancing Stars for 6 years and was also in the feature film IM WEISSEN RÖSSL and WEHE, DU SINGST! to see. Most recently: NINE on the Baden stage.

Charlotte Jones is a prolific screenwriter and award-winning playwright. Her play, "Humble Boy" premiered at the National Theatre, was nominated for an Olivier award and won the Critics’ Circle Best New Play Award along with the People’s Choice Best New Play Award.

Why "Airswimming" and why now? There seems to be an increasing attack on women's freedom again. Wade vs. Roe being abandoned in the U.S., countries around the world where women are still struggling for recognition/power, or trying to regain/maintain it after a shift in government & power. So if not now then when?
